Marie George, the owner, and cuisine specialist provides a variety of dishes. Her
specialty is Dominican food, Calibishie style. Marie's expertise is in preparing
seafood dishes or lightly spiced chicken. All are augmented with freshly gathered
local provisions and garnished with original sauces. They are a tribute to her grandmothers
recipes and training. Ask for her "Callaloo" soup, pigs foot souse or turkey
stew. The "Diamond Bar" provides a wide variety of fresh juices, in season,
and beverages including local beers and a list of the island's famous rums. The diner
is located at the east end of town on the main road.
West Indian Diner
Located at the west end of the village of Calibishie, local food is available in
a village setting. Call ahead and Paul will prepare special dishes that are uniquely
